Two engineers and an idea
For years we watched the wineries around us — many with decades of history — making critical fermentation decisions by eye, with the same tools as always, with consistency failures and no way to preserve vintage data for future improvement. And we thought: there has to be a better way. Our mission is to bring the advantages of digitalisation and industrial sensorisation to a sector that deserves it: wine. Without giving up artisan know-how. Without complicating what already works. Simply adding data and intelligence where uncertainty used to live. Today, Komsenso works with more than 30 wineries across multiple appellations and countries.
From Valladolid to the world
We were born surrounded by wine: steeped in its culture, shaped by its craft, and acutely aware of its challenges. Here, in Castile and León, is the origin of Komsenso — and also the origin of our obsession with improving every fermentation. We develop both Enobot and our R&D Custom Solutions entirely in-house: hardware, firmware, cloud platform and fermentation analysis algorithms. No third-party dependencies. Adaptable to any tank type, variety or process. Scalable from a family winery to a large cooperative. Today we work with wineries across multiple appellations — Ribera del Duero, Rueda, Rioja, Penedès, Priorat, Rías Baixas and more — and we continue to expand.
